What is DEIS?

DEIS stands for Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools. It is a national programme, aimed at addressing the educational needs of young people.

What is a DEIS Action Plan?

This contains a list of targets and actions that are designed to support children who are at the greatest risk of educational disadvantage. These are subdivided into 8 categories, known as DEIS Themes.
